We had another great field trip with our 4H club. This time
we visited a local county park for a pond study. Unfortunately,
I didn't get any shots of the kids with their ponding nets as
I was busy balancing baby on one hip and holding Victor by
his shirt to avoid a nose-dive into the water... We were wet
and muddy, and it was lots of fun. We spotted a huge saddle fungus
on a tree, spring wildflowers, tadpoles, water beetles, fish, a frog or two,
and lots of snails.
Victor picked up a new "fishing pole". Below, you'll see
his vote for the most interesting thing in the park. He sat
and gazed lovingly for a good 5 minutes.
