Lights Out

We're having some electrical issues in our house, and at the moment, we have no lights in our kitchen, foyer, or front porch. So, we've been eating our meals by candlelight. At breakfast this morning, the kids were enjoying the flickering candle flames. Lucy likened them to two children walking, and Victor thought the candles were dancing. What a fabulous parenting moment! What imagination! What creativity! "We have no need for media, technology, fancy toys,"I pridefully thought... I was snapped back to reality with Lucy's next comment: "Does the TV still work?"
