favorite books

I've been tagged by my friend Jenn to comment on my favorite homeschooling books! On her blog, she mentions The Well-Trained Mind by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer and Real Learning by Elizabeth Foss. I agree that these are two of my absolute favorites on the subject - they were both really formative for me in my approach to homeschooling.

Another favorite, which offers a lot more humor and a lot less philosophy is Please Don't Drink the Holy Water by Susie Lloyd. If you're in the mood to laugh and be encouraged, pick this one up.
