to forget the discomfort of pregnancy, labor and delivery when you see the sweet face of a newborn. I'm in the process of putting away maternity clothes and bringing my regular clothes out of storage (not that they will necessarily fit me just yet!). And, I'm already feeling a twinge of sadness over not being pregnant! Thank God for the gift of motherhood and for entrusting us with the awesome privilege of bringing new life into the world! In spite of sleep deprivation and a REALLY messy house, we're enjoying Felicity's newborn phase of life. Many of our friends, neighbors, and even people we don't know from church have showered us with meals and well wishes and prayers, which have been sustaining us. We are so very grateful!!!
