You know how certain people in the world just have a gift for making others happy? Well, I had a good friend named Teresa, and she was one of those.

When we first moved here, I attended a Moms' Night Out for our local Catholic homeschooling group. She was one of the first people who introduced herself to me. That she could light up a room is a complete understatement. She was beautiful, stylish, FUNNY, and had a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ that she was willing to share with absolutely anyone. She could get away with cracking a joke about just about anything.

For approximately 5 years, she battled cancer. It started in the breast and spread, spread, spread... She kept on fighting, praying, and trusting God. She inspired all around her to do the same.

Late last night, we got a call from a friend letting us know that Teresa had died earlier in the evening.

Please pray for the repose of her soul as well as for her husband, 4 young children, and her extended family. She will be missed terribly.
