A Gift

Today the doorbell rang while Lucy and I were plugging through her math, so I went to the door. It was the FedEx guy bringing us a package. The package contained one of the top 5 sweetest gifts I've ever received.

It was letters and pictures, one for each of us, from our soon-to-be son. They are absolutely precious beyond words.

So, that was the end of our school day, because we just couldn't tear ourselves away from reading the letters over and over again. Then, of course, we had to write back immediately. So, maybe we didn't get through grammar or spelling, but it was a morning well spent, nevertheless.
