This post is for my buddy Janelle who accused me of neglecting my blog. Well, she's right. Some of my reasons are good (educating my kids, taking care of the house, making adoption plans) and others are not so good (facebooking, sneaking chocolate out of the pantry). So, here's a little weekend update to put myself back in good standing in the blogosphere.
Most importantly, I met my new precious nephew, who is now 6 weeks old. He is pretty much my brother in miniature, but sweet as can be. Just kidding, my brother is sweet, in his own quirky way.
Also headed to the Little River Railroad, which is one of our absolute favorite outings.
I wish I could post pictures. Just can't seem to find the cord to get them from the phone to the computer... hmmm... Well, imagine the clickety-clack, gentle sway of an old fashioned steam engine filled with happy kids and relaxing adults. Very nice. Felicity only tried to jump out once, so it was a good day.
We're beginning a novena to St. Joseph to help us make a decision on our housing situation. I'm pretty sure we've looked at every house on the market within a 20-mile radius of my husband's job, and there is nothing that will work for a wheelchair. So, we're considering a build. It's a little scary, and we want to make a good decision. If anyone could spare a prayer for us on that subject, we would be very grateful.
That's about it! Better do some lesson/meal planning.
Happy Sunday!!

Thanks for the update! The St. Joseph novena is a good idea and one we should possibly start as well. Now, remember, "Blog first, Facebook second"!
Love and miss you!
Janelle
