A Matter of Interpretation
Victor, dressed as a T-Rex, won the award for 'cutest' costume at the super-fun Halloween party we attended this afternoon. The judges were 4 very sweet teenage girls. Upon returning home, this was his version of the story: "Dad, I won the prize for scariest, meanest monster at the whole party!"

Arriving home from the party, my oldest told me they "We gave Victor cutest because he wouldn't have understood most pre-historic. And...well...it was Victor, so, of course he'd have to get the best of something. He's, afterall, Victor."
I'm serious. He's like a movie-star at our house.
They also thought it was wonderful that Lucy was happy with "most makeup."
