We ventured out for our first official field trip on Thursday. Our destination was a local nature preserve. The mosquitoes were horrible, but the weather was sunny and warm, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Victor was mostly interested in the dirt, as you can see above.
The theme of our visit was 'sights of fall', and our guide was really great.
